The Piano Man
Since the Wreckin' Ball brought up the poster, I figured it should be the next one posted.
The older folks ought to relate the substance of Mr. Joel's speech at Williams. Pretty funny if I remember correctly.

Here is the story I heard about Mr. Joel's speech. He gets up behind the podium, leans on it for support, pulls up the microphone and begins speaking:
"Okay, I get this question a lot, so I will start with it ... yes, it is as good as it looks."
Lord, I think my wife would killed me were I to say anything remotely similar (e.g., our interior decorating is as fashionable as her mode of dress; her dinner table conversation is as insightful as her academic articles).
How did the talk go from there? I saw a documentary on music with Billy Joel and he really impressed me. He was drawing all types of strong parallels between Bach and his music (I guess Uptown Girl was "ripped off" from a fugue).
