House keeping
The blog is only a few days old and I have never managed a blog before, so there might be some rough spots. I've added a lot of HTML code to the template to give us added functionality. One piece lists recent comments on the site. The other provides a place for people to make smart ass remarks chat room style. Both hacks will slow down the site. Let me know if it is a problem.
A little feedback on the site would be useful for me. If you have suggestions or encounter problems, let me know in the comments section. I could also provide instructions on things like posting pictures or creating your own posts, if you like.

I took off the Chatterbox. I think it was the cause of the pop ups.
As for the recent comments, it isn't working at all for some people (e.g., Keith Faigin). It is an improvement. I might look for a better hack -- but I spent long enough on it for now.
If someone knows more about html and blogger, then they are welcome to make suggestions.
A couple of new house keeping notes.
I increased the number of "Recent Comments" to 10. Hopefully that will help people keepup with all the whackiness.
I also set the site to archive weekly. Frequent archiving should make the page load faster.
